MORE DISNEYLAND PICS

VACATION AND FATHER'S DAY

Last week, we headed off to CA to have some fun, and much fun was had!! We surprised the younger boys with Disneyland(Eli found out a couple of days before we left). It was so cute, as we drove into the parking lot at the hotel, Gregory noticed the Mickey Mouse signs, but didn't realize we were there:) So, on Tuesday, we started early, and walked to Disneyland...our hotel was about a 5 minute walk....it sure beat dealing with the parking lot traffic! What the kids still did not know, was that my parents were meeting us there! Eli saw them first, and they were all so thrilled! It was pretty crowded, but the lines moved pretty quickly. Eli loved the fast rides and going on some rides by himself ( enjoying his independence ), Gregory enjoyed Toontown, and Nathan loved Fantasy land. Jacob was such a wonderful baby and had a great time! He was able to go on my lap on a lot of rides......he just loved the rides and had a huge smile....he's a little trooper! We all had a great time and stayed till the park closed....the kiddos are already asking when we're heading back:) On Wed., we went for a day of play at Newport Beach. We had a nice and relaxing day. Eli & Gregory had fun boogie boarding, and Nathan & Jacob had a blast playing in the sand! We ended the day with a delicious dinner at the beach! Even though we had an occasional spill of the drink or tired mode temper tantrum....it was a WONDERFUL vacation, and many memories were made!! We had a lovely Father's Day weekend. On Sat., we made it to see Sex&The City...it was a really good movie! On Sunday, the boys & I made Dave breakfast, Dave watched the Clint Eastwood marathon, I gave Dave a back massage, and we went for a bar-b-que at my parent's house. Now it's back to reality, and piles of vacation laundry!!

ENJOYING THE SUMMER!!

We are enjoying the summer! The boys have been swimming in the inflatable pool, slipping on the slip-n-slide, doing arts and crafts(and of course work books too), going to the movies, playing at the park, and having ice cream every evening:) Unfortunately, Eli's best friend moved this week, but they did have a fun going away slumber party, and he is only moving 45 minutes away, so we'll keep in touch. We're getting ready to head to CA this coming week. We're surprising the boys with Disneyland, and Grandma&Grandpa are going to be there too, and we're going to the beach. I'll be back in a week with lot's of pics!!
